International Plastics was formed as a new business Jan. 1, 1990 by Ken Minkus. Ken has been in the plastics
distribution business since Jan. 1965. In 1998, Ken's son Jeff was hired as a warehouse employee and has since
worked his way up to become vice president of operations. Ken's wife Nancy also works as the chief financial
officer, making us a genuinely family operated business. Over the years, our company has grown and transitioned
into a full service plastics distributor, and broker.
Even as we grew, we have never lost sight of the values that have made us successful since the beginning.
We know that everyone within our I.P. family has made a choice to work with us, and we greatly appreciate all
of their efforts. We have since incorporated in the state of Washington, and are now known as International Plastics Inc.
One of the key components of our success is our controlled growth. Our company's combination of high quality products,
competitive pricing, and service, second to none, have made us one of the top distributors in this industry. We know that
growing too fast can come with sacrifices. That is why we only expanded when we felt we had a solid infrastructure and a
reliable staff in place to accommodate growth. We have never been willing to sacrifice the service we felt was the foundation
of what made our family business successful.
There have been many other companies that have grown much faster, and have more employees, however, when you compare the
service, support, business acumen, technology, and respect we give our customers and suppliers . . . no other companies compare.
International Plastics Inc.: "Where Service is more than just a seven letter word."
