| Delrin® (a.k.a Acetal) |
|
|
Delrin® is a homopolymer thermoplastic which demonstrates superior mechanical properties,
is easily machined, and, because of its low water-absorption, performs particularly well in
wet environments. Delrin is generally stronger and more rigid than copolymer acetals, and
offers an excellent alternative to stainless steel and other metals when used for bearings
and small-diameter bushings, gears, guide rollers, and other similar applications.
